Jammu & Kashmir News : SSP Pulwama Ms Tanushree Posted to Delhi in Latest AGMUT Cadre Reshuffle

Pulwama, July 09 : IPS officer Ms Tanushree, who earlier served as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Pulwama, has been posted to Delhi as part of the latest reshuffle in the AGMUT (Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories) cadre ordered by the Ministry of Home Affairs. During her tenure as SSP Pulwama, Ms Tanushree was associated with various policing initiatives aimed at maintaining law and order, strengthening public outreach and enhancing coordination between the police and local communities. She played an important role in overseeing security arrangements, crime prevention measures and public service delivery in the district.

Her tenure in Pulwama was marked by efforts to promote community policing and improve public engagement, particularly through interaction programmes and grievance redressal initiatives aimed at fostering trust between the police and the public. The latest transfer has been ordered as part of a routine administrative reshuffle by the Ministry of Home Affairs to streamline policing and administrative responsibilities across the AGMUT cadre. The posting to Delhi marks a significant new assignment in Ms Tanushree’s policing career as she prepares to take on fresh responsibilities in the national capital.
