Jammu & Kashmir News : Grand Milad-un-Nabi (SAW)Procession Held in Pulwama with Religious Fervour and Devotion

Pulwama, August 27 : A grand Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession was taken out in Pulwama on Wednesday to commemorate the blessed birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), with hundreds of devotees participating in an atmosphere of faith, reverence and religious devotion. The main procession commenced from Mehboob-ul-Alam Markazi Jami Masjid, Gudoora and was led by Moulana Haji Abdul Rashid Khan. The procession proceeded towards the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Pulwama, with devotees marching peacefully along the designated route.

Throughout the procession, participants recited Durood-o-Salaam and Naats in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), creating an atmosphere filled with spiritual fervour and devotion. Men, youth and elderly devotees took part in the religious gathering, reflecting their deep love and respect for the Prophet (SAW). Several other Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) processions and rallies were also organized at different locations across Pulwama. A significant rally was led by Tehreek Soutul Awliya, with large numbers of devotees joining the celebrations and expressing their devotion through prayers, Durood-o-Salaam and Naats. The participants emphasized the teachings and noble character of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), calling upon people to follow the principles of peace, compassion, brotherhood, tolerance and humanity taught by the Prophet (SAW). The Milad celebrations concluded peacefully, with participants praying for peace, prosperity, communal harmony and well-being across Jammu and Kashmir.
