Shopian, August 3 : A cloudburst struck the Badrhama village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday, triggering flash floods and creating panic among residents, officials said. The sudden cloudburst led to a surge of water through the village, inundating several areas and disrupting normal life. Residents rushed to safer places as flash floods swept through parts of the locality. Although no loss of life or major damage was immediately reported, the incident caused panic among the local population, with officials monitoring the situation closely. The administration is assessing the impact of the cloudburst, while local authorities have advised residents to remain alert in view of the prevailing weather conditions.
