Ganderbal, July 31: Three persons sustained injuries in a road accident near Hayan Bridge in the Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Friday morning. According to officials, the accident occurred under circumstances that are yet to be ascertained. Immediately after the incident, local residents, along with rescue teams, rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan for prompt medical treatment.

Hospital sources said all three injured persons are currently undergoing treatment. The nature and extent of their injuries were not immediately known. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.(KNC)
