Srinagar, June 7: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today paid heartfelt tributes to former legislator and veteran political leader Late Kh. Mohd Sultan Pandithpori on his first death anniversary, remembering him as a committed public servant whose life was dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of the people. In her message, Mehbooba Mufti said that Late Kh. Mohd Sultan Pandithpori earned immense respect across political and social circles through his humility, integrity, and unwavering commitment to public causes. She noted that his contributions to the development of his region and his steadfast advocacy for the concerns of ordinary people continue to be remembered with admiration and gratitude.

Recalling his decades of public service, Mehbooba Mufti said that the late leader remained deeply connected to the grassroots and consistently worked to strengthen democratic participation and inclusive development. She described him as a leader who placed the interests of the people above all else and left behind a legacy of sincerity, compassion, and dedicated service. Ms. Mufti prayed that Almighty Allah grants Late Kh. Mohd Sultan Pandithpori the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and gives strength and patience to his family and loved ones.
