Jammu & Kashmir News : Grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) Procession Held in Pulwama, Thousands Participate

Pulwama : A grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession was taken out in Pulwama on Friday after the congregational Friday prayers, marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) with religious fervour, devotion and immense public participation. The procession commenced from the Markazi Jamia Masjid Pulwama and was organized under the leadership of Markazi Auqaf Pulwama. The procession was led by Moulana Mohammad Akram Dar, Imam of Markazi Jamia Masjid Pulwama, along with Bashir Ahmad Shah, Chairman Markazi Auqaf Pulwama, Abdul Rashid Chat and other members and religious personalities.

Thousands of devotees and people from different areas of Pulwama participated in the procession, raising slogans in praise of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and expressing their deep love and reverence for the Holy Prophet (SAW). The procession passed through various neighbourhoods and prominent area of Pulwama, with participants reciting Durood-o-Salam and remembering the noble teachings, compassion and message of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The atmosphere remained deeply spiritual and peaceful throughout the event.

The organizers and religious scholars appealed to the participants to maintain peace, brotherhood, discipline and communal harmony while observing the occasion in accordance with the teachings of Islam. To ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the procession, Pulwama Police, Health Department and Municipal Council Pulwama extended necessary support and services.Adequate arrangements were made along the route to facilitate the movement of the procession and ensure the safety and convenience of the participants.

The procession ultimately concluded peacefully at Markazi Jamia Masjid Pulwama, where prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, brotherhood and well-being of the people. The organizers appreciated the cooperation extended by the administration, police, concerned departments and the general public for ensuring that the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) procession remained peaceful, disciplined and successful.
