Srinagar, July 6 :- People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President on Sunday expressed solidarity with Iran as she departed from Tehran, praising the country’s leadership and people for their resilience during what she described as a period of profound loss and grief. In a post on X, Mehbooba Mufti said her thoughts remained with Iran’s “brave leadership and resilient people” and asserted that she would always stand with them.

“As I depart from Tehran, my thoughts are with its brave leadership and resilient people in this moment of profound loss and grief. We will always stand with you,” she wrote. She also conveyed her gratitude to the Iranian government for its hospitality during her visit. “Deepest gratitude to the Iranian government for being such gracious and warm hosts. It’s been an honour to be here,” she added. The PDP president’s remarks came at the conclusion of her visit to Tehran, where she acknowledged the hospitality extended to her and expressed support for the Iranian people during a difficult period.
