Shopian, June 24: Apni Party District President Shopian Adv Gowhar H Wani today visited Madina Market, the designated vending zone of town Shopian, and interacted with local vendors, shopkeepers and members of the business community to take stock of their concerns and requirements. The party leader was accompanied by Adv Tanveer Tak, Adv Aqib Javid and Zonal President Mohammad Yaqoob Malla. During the visit, Adv. Wani listened to issues raised by the vendors regarding availability of basic facilities, business opportunities, regulation of vending spaces and measures required for strengthening local trade and employment.

Addressing those present, the Apni Party District President emphasized the importance of supporting small traders and street vendors, stating that vending zones play a significant role in sustaining livelihoods and contributing to the local economy. He assured the participants that their genuine concerns would be highlighted before the appropriate authorities for timely consideration. He further stated that development of vending infrastructure, transparent administration and facilitation of local business activities remain essential for the economic growth of Shopian. The local vendors appreciated the visit and expressed hope that sustained engagement would help address issues concerning the vending zone.
