Poonch, Sep 8 : A motorcycle rider was killed on the spot after an unidentified vehicle hit his motorcycle near Kalai in Poonch district, officials said. The deceased was identified as Mehmood Ahmed, son of Abdul Latief, a resident of Khanater, Poonch.

According to officials, Ahmed was riding his motorcycle when the unidentified vehicle struck him near Kalai. He sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances of the accident and identify the vehicle involved.
