Satna, Madhya Pradesh: Residents of Chanda village in Satna district are facing severe difficulties due to the poor condition of the road and persistent waterlogging on a bridge during the monsoon season. The deteriorated infrastructure has disrupted daily commuting and increased the risk of accidents. According to local residents, the Khutaha–Hiraundi road, particularly the bridge near Khutaha Railway Station, gets heavily waterlogged whenever it rains. As a result, school students, farmers, commuters, and other travelers struggle to cross the area safely.

Villagers allege that despite informing the concerned authorities on several occasions, no permanent solution has been provided. They claim that nearly 100 meters of road near the bridge has remained incomplete for over 10 years, causing continuous inconvenience and frequent accidents. Residents have appealed to the Madhya Pradesh Government and the district administration to complete the pending road construction at the earliest and ensure safe transportation for the public. As of now, no official statement has been issued by the concerned department or the district administration regarding the matter.
