Shopian<\/strong> August 13 : A grand Tiranga Rally was held in Shopian today as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga-2026 campaign and commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram, evoking a strong spirit of patriotism and national pride across the district. The rally commenced from the Youth Services & Sports Stadium, Shirmal and culminated at the Mega Fruit Mandi, Aglar. MLA, Shopian, Shabir Ahmed Kulley, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta, SSP Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary and other senior officers, officials and dignitaries participated with enthusiasm. The tricolour-filled rally, witnessed enthusiastic participation of officers, officials and people, creating a vibrant display of unity and national pride.<\/p>\n

On reaching Aglar Fruit Mandi, the gathering observed the National Anthem and National Song Vande Mataram, further adding solemnity and patriotic fervour to the occasion. The event reflected the collective commitment of the people of Shopian towards the values of unity, integrity and national pride, while celebrating the enduring legacy of Vande Mataram.
