Srinagar<\/strong>, July 8 : Chairman JKCSF and President JKLPUF, Abdul Qayoom Wani on Tuesday strongly advocated for the restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir along with all constitutional guarantees that existed prior to August 5, 2019, while addressing a conference held at SKICC, Srinagar. The conference, organised by the present government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, was attended by senior political leaders, religious scholars, retired officials, representatives of trade bodies, transporters, lawyers and members of civil society. During his address, Wani urged the government to fulfil promises made in its election manifesto and highlighted the growing unemployment crisis among educated youth. He called for the formulation of a secure and effective job policy to address rising frustration and uncertainty among young people.<\/p>\n

He also stressed the need to strengthen the private sector to boost economic growth and employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir. Wani further demanded an efficient and time-bound public grievance redressal mechanism to restore public confidence in governance and ensure prompt resolution of people’s issues.His speech was widely appreciated by participants and dignitaries present at the conference. A delegation comprising Nusrat Ahmad Beigh, Farooq Ahmad Lone, Ghulam Ahmad Shah, Er. K.M.
