Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo said that in 2014, the people of Jammu & Kashmir elected the PDP with the hope that it would safeguard the region’s interests. However, she described the PDP’s decision to form a government with the BJP as one of the biggest political mistakes. She said that this alliance paved the way for the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35A, as well as the loss of Jammu & Kashmir’s statehood in 2019.<\/p>\n
